Before committing to a voluntary role, it is important that you think about whether you will be available to attend at least 3 hours a week for a minimum period of 6 months.

This will however, depend on the volunteer role. Please see the possible volunteer opportunity role profiles for more information.

The application process includes obtaining two satisfactory references, health clearance and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Prior to commencement as a volunteer you will be required to attend a two day Corporate Induction and on becoming a volunteer you will be required to sign a Voluntary Agreement and abide with the terms of the Trust’s policies and procedures.

 

If you wish to progress an application please either download a Volunteer Application Form and the Health Form from this page or contact the Voluntary Services Manager for a copy. Additionally, please contact the Voluntary Services Manager for details to complete the DBS check online.

 

Complete the application, which includes the equal opportunities questionnaire, the health form and DBS. Remember to denote on the application and health forms which role you are applying for and contact Voluntary Services to arrange an interview.

Centre of Excellence for Endometriosis wins two awards

Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals CEMIG (Centre for Endometriosis and Minimally Invasive Gynaecology) team won two awards at the annual British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy Conference (BSGE) Conference, held in Edinburgh in May – The Silver video presentation award and a Bronze video poster award.

Quads born at St Peter’s Hospital Maternity Unit

We are delighted to announce the arrival of the quadruplets born at St Peter’s Hospital on Wednesday 11th July. Three girls and one boy were delivered by caesarean section to Melisa Patino and Jon Belsey. Mum Melisa and Dad Jon are over the moon and the couple decided to name the babies soon after they were born - the girls were called Evie, Maddison and Cassidy and the boy is Logan.
