Our charitable activity is expanding fast with a current children's fundraising appeal in progress at St Peter's and an exciting appeal to be launched at Ashford in the coming months.
Our Fundraising Appeals 2019
Children’s Critical Care Unit Surveillance System
For a young child in a critical condition the slightest change in temperature, blood pressure, heart beat etc. can be life threatening. We are raising funds to purchase a state of the art surveillance system that will immediately alert the nursing team if there is a sudden change in a child’s condition. We’re well on the way to reaching the target but still need your support to achieve this.
The Big heart that keeps giving
We are delighted to be one of the first NHS Trusts to install a contactless donation unit in the main reception area at St Peter’s. It’s much safer than having cash donation boxes, and no personal data is kept on the unit. The unit can receive donations from £1 – £30. Currently the proceeds are going towards our Children’s Critical Care Surveillance System. Please tell your family and friends about the Big Heart … that keeps giving.
Little Roo 2019 fund-raiser challenge!
We hope to get a small group together to kayak down the River Thames to Chertsey over two days in the late summer. The event is open to anyone associated with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. You need to be sure you can kayak for two full days and have had proper safety training in kayaking. We will be organising a training day likely to be 13/14 April and you will need to provide your own kayak.
