Details of the Response
Thank you for your request to Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust regarding revenue from bedside entertainment suites and revenue sharing from higher rate numbers. The Trust’s Deputy Director of Finance has responded as follows:-
- How much revenue have hospitals in the trust made from bedside entertainment suites (ie telephones, TV and radio systems paid for by patients) in financial year 2007-2008?
The Trust receives no revenue, or commission payments for the bedside entertainment. All revenue goes to the service provider HTS.
- How much have hospitals in the trust made in telephone revenue sharing (ie where the trust has received a proportion of the cost of the call) from 0844, 0845 or other higher than local rate telephone numbers in financial year 2007-2008?
The Trust does not currently use 0844, 0845, or 087, therefore, no revenue is received.
