Details of the Request
Your tariff for private patients for the financial year 2007-08 together with the volume of each treatment carried out, expressed both in terms of patient numbers and income. Where the price differs for self payers and insurers, please give both.
For each private patient tariff price given above, please state the nearest equivalent HRG and the trust’s reference cost for that HRG in 2007-08. Please do state a nearest HRG and reference cost for each private patient price.
Where available, please break down each of the HRGs and HRG equivalents given in answers 1 and 2 into procedure codes, their descriptions and the individual unit price (for private patients) and reference cost components (for HRGs).
If any of the prices given in answer to question 1 are less or only the same as the nearest equivalent prices given in answer 2, does this mean that particular private patient work is unprofitable? Please give reasons for your answer. |
