Details of the Request
During the course of this year, all provider arms of the PCT`s that are not already looking to become a Community Foundation Trust or merge with their local authority or mental health trust, will have to merge with an acute trust.
Therefore there will be a person in charge of this from the Provider arm and the Hospital as the receiving organisation to the merger.

Details of the Response
Thank you for your request to Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust regarding integration of community provider arms.
NHS Surrey are not at the point where they are active in their management of the integration of their provider arm, as such we are maintaining a watching brief.
The name of the potential lead is Paul Bentley, Director of Strategy, if and when this happens.
