Thank you for your request to Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust regarding Atypical Antipsychotic Prescribing to Children.
The Trust’s Chief Pharmacist has responded as follows:
- The number of patients who are children (under 18s) who have been treated with atypical antipsychotic drugs in the last 12 months.
3 Patients had these medicines dispensed from the pharmacy in the past year.
- Could you let me have the percentage of child patients on each atypical (eg Risperidone, 50%)
Data not held by Pharmacy system or Patient Administration System.
Please could you also break down the figure in (A) by:
- Number of children under age 5 and between 5 and 10;
- Under age of 5: 0
- Between 5 and 10: 1
- Number living in residential care homes;
