- Has the Trust produced any strategies/implementation plans/reports specific to diabetes services?
- Strategies - Part of the medical directorate business plan for internal use
- Implementation plans – Currently working to implement changes necessary to respond to NPSA insulin safety alert,
- Reports - review of Inpatient diabetic service and needs 2008 (trust audit) and fed data into the National inpatient diabetic audit
- Has the Trust published a diabetes care pathway?
Yes.
- Has the Trust produced diabetes management guidelines?
Yes – copies of the guidelines for "Acute Hypoglycaemia" and "Control of Hyperglycaemia" were sent to the requester.
- Has the Trust published prescribing guidelines for drugs to manage diabetes?
No
- Is the Trust part of a Diabetes network?
Yes, involved in NW Surrey "Diabetic LIT"
