Details of the Request

I am only interested in information which relates to the period January 1 2010 to the present day.

During the aforementioned period has any member (s) of the Royal Family visited premises owned and or run & or managed by the Trust.

If so could you please state which member (s) of the Royal Family visited and can you please state what was the purpose of their visit.

Can you also state which site they visited and on what date (s) they attended.

Can the Trust please state how much it spent on this visit.

These costs will include but will not be limited to costs relating to staffing, security, transportation publicity and entertaining.

During the aforementioned period has the Prime Minister, any secretary of state or a a minister visited premises owned and or run and or managed by the Trust. Please state which politician visited and can you please state what was the purpose of the visit.

Details of the Response

Thank you for your request to Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust regarding the following Royal and VIP visits to the Trust.


The Trust’s Head of Communications has responded as follows:

The information which relates to the period January 1 2010 to the present day
  1. During the aforementioned period has any member (s) of the Royal Family visited premises owned and or run and or managed by the Trust.

    No members of the Royal Family have visited the Trust premises.
     
  2. If so could you please state which member (s) of the Royal Family visited and can you please state what was the purpose of their visit. Can you also state which site they visited and on what date (s) they attended. Can you give details of which specific wards, offices, clinics or service areas they visited.

    Not applicable.
     
  3. Can the Trust please state how much it spent on this visit. These costs will include but will not be limited to costs relating to staffing, security, transportation, publicity and entertaining.

    Not applicable.
     
  4. During the aforementioned period has the Prime Minister, any secretary of state or a minister visited premises owned and or run and or managed by the Trust.

    None of these VIPs have visited the Trust.
     
  5. If so could you please state which politician visited and can you please state what was the purpose of the visit? Can you also state which site they visited and on what date (s) they attended?

  6. Can the Trust please state how much it spent on the visit. These costs will include but will not be limited to costs relating to staffing, security, transportation, publicity and entertaining.

  7. During the aformentioned period has the Trust rebuilt and or deep cleaned and or renovated and or redecorated and or revamped and or refurnished any of its premises.

    The term premises will include but will not be limited to hospital wards, A and E units, clinics, maternity units, hospital theatres, surgery suites, individual offices, administrative blocks, kitchens, corridors, dinning facilities, sports and leisure facilities, staff quarters, physiotherapy units , waiting rooms and reception areas, car parks, gardens and other outside areas. I am interested in receiving details of all work irrespective of whether the work was carried out because of any of the aforementioned visits. In each case can you state the location which was rebuilt and or deep cleaned and or renovated and or redecorated and or revamped and or refurbished. Can you state the dates the work was carried out, the cost of that work and the duration of the work. Can you identify work which was carried out specifically in relation to any of the aforementioned visits.
