Details of the Request
I would like to view a list of the clinical fixed assets (with new purchase value > £2000) currently held by the hospitals in your Trust, as well as their quantity and manufacturer.
If possible, I would also like to see an estimation of the remaining lifespan of the various items. |

Details of the Response
Thank you for your request to Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust regarding a list of the clinical fixed assets (with new purchase value > £2000) currently held, and apologise for the delay is responding to your request.
The Trust’s Deputy Director of Finance has responded as follows:
Please find attached a PDF document of clinical fixed assets with an initial purchase cost of >£5,000. The data included is Asset ID, Description, Quantity and Supplier. Please note that for a lot of older items the supplier has not been recorded. In addition, we have not put in an estimation of remaining life as there are over 1,000 such assets and this is a subjective opinion.
Please also note that this information comes from the Trust’s fixed asset system and that the system only includes assets above the threshold of £5,000, which is the minimum value for classification of the item as capital.
