Thank you for your request to Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Trust regarding management consultants.
The Trust’s Deputy Finance Director has responded as follows:
- How much has been spent in the financial year to date on management consultants?
£1.260m year to date to month 8
- How much was spent in the previous financial year (2009/10) on management consultants?
£1.653m
- For what purpose were management consultants hired? Please provide details of each instance in the following format: Date hired – time period hired for – total cost – purpose – outcome
Please see attached. This has been answered as far as possible based on the information held in the Finance System. It is not possible for us to comment on the outcome of the projects, as we do not hold this data. However, regarding Foundation Trust spends; Foundation Trust status has been achieved.
