Details of the Response
|
In response to your FOI request regarding the number doctors and nurses employed by the Trust who are HIV positive. Where nurses and doctors have declared a HIV positive status, an assessment is made of their suitability for the role they undertake and adjustments are made where required. The record is held on their confidential individual health file. We are therefore exempting this request under section 41 of the Freedom of Information Act, which relates to information that has been provided in confidence.
