Dr Tim Welman, a First Year Doctor in Colorectal Surgery was congratulated and presented with a bottle of wine by Dr Clive Grundy for answering his bleeper in 2 seconds.

Second place was won by Madeleine Andersson, a Year 2 Doctor in Medicine with 3 seconds and third place by Christiana Page, a first year doctor in Colorectal Surgery with 5 seconds.

The Bleeper Cup, which takes place every six months is open to all First Year, Year 2 doctors and Registrars.

Meeting our members

On Tuesday evening we held our Annual Members' Meeting in the Postgrad centre at St Peter's. Hosted by Aileen, this is our opportunity with our Governors, to showcase the work we do to our members, colleagues and other stakeholders and a really positive event to come back to in my first week after my summer holiday.
