| Charity shop opens at Ashford Hospital |

The new charity shop of the League of Friends of Ashford Hospital was officially opened on the 6th August at 10am by the Mayor of Spelthorne, Cllr Robin Sider and Chairman of Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals, Aileen McLeish. Simon Bhadye, Co Chairman of the League of Friends, said: “We are very grateful to the Trust for the provision of the shop, where we expect to sell greeting cards, second hand videos, DVDs, CDs, books and knitwear (knitted by our volunteers).
