Quality and Safety Lead - Band 8b

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join the quality team at Ashford and St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH) who has a proven track record on the quality and safety agenda.

This role will be responsible for leading and driving quality safety assurance, and regulatory compliance to achieve the best service standards and outcomes for patients and the Trust. This role provides an opportunity to move both our regulation and safety piece forward as we are a Trust who is CQC Good but aspire to being Outstanding. A vacancy has arisen in the Sterile Services Department at St. Peter’s Hospital for a permanent, full time technician. A Sterile Services Technician is responsible for providing effective safe and efficient collection, decontamination (washing, disinfection and sterilization) and distribution of re-usable medical devices with complex speciality demands, including devices, of varied design which are of a delicate and valuable nature for use in direct patient care.

Clinical Office Coordinator - IBD - Band 4

An opportunity has arisen to further improve the services provided for IBD patients at ASPH. A 37.5 hour role of IBD administrator is required to provide administrative support to the IBD nursing team; it requires a high level of organisational skills and someone who is good at communicating with a wide range of health care professionals as well as patients and their relatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising timetables, clinic planning and MDT coordination to support IBD patients to remain as well as possible.
