Respiratory Physiologist - Band 6

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Respiratory Physiology Services at Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation trust. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic respiratory physiologist to join our busy expanding and evolving service. The department offers full lung function investigations, skin prick testing, and muscle weakness testing. The sleep service offers limited polysomnography, CPAP set-up, and reviews. The skilled individual should have understanding of Lung function testing and diagnostic sleep testing, including set-up of limited polysomnography, analyses and reporting the sleep study. Experience in CPAP therapy including set-up, titration, trouble shoot, maintenance and advice is necessary. As the successful Band 6 applicant you will also be expected to play an active role in the education and training of junior respiratory physiologist as well as other healthcare professionals including physiotherapists, nursing staff, medical students and junior doctors.

Salary: £32,933 - £39,681 pa Inc. HCAS

Clinical Fellow in Geriatric Medicine

These Clinical Fellow roles are not recognised as formal training posts, however, the training opportunities will be similar to those at ST3+ level training posts.

The post holder (x1) will gain a wide range of experience in all aspects of work within the SAMS specialty and during this time, the post holder will work primarily on the in-patient wards (SAMS), as well as providing support to our Frailty in-reach Team.

Desktop and Telecoms Support Technician - Band 5

Ashford and St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH) are looking to recruit a new Desktop and Telecoms Support Technician to our proactive team. We provide a supportive environment which encourages self-development and allow staff to set time aside for further education.

The successful applicant will be employed as part of a proactive team of support staff responsible for delivering a high quality, professional front line service. The ASPH IT Department supports over 4,000 staff spread across two main sites and a further 2 community sites. We have a range of devices such as traditional desktops and laptops, plus a growing inventory of tablet and smart phone devices (mainly iOS).

Occupational Therapist - Band 7

We are looking for a specialist physiotherapist to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive respiratory physiotherapy team at ASPH NHS Foundation Trust in Surrey. The team provides services across critical care, cardiorespiratory medicine and surgery at the St Peter’s site. Our cross-organisational integrated Home Ventilation Team and an Oxygen Assessment Service, support patients in the community and outpatient clinics.

Speech & Language Therapist for Voice - Band 6

Are you interested in developing your skills in voice therapy?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative SLT with excellent communication skills to join our outpatient SLT Voice service at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital. The service is delivered through a mix of face to face and virtual consultations.

You would be part of a dynamic and friendly Therapy team based within the ASPH Foundation Trust. The team of Speech and Language Therapists work across outpatient voice therapy, acute and rehabilitation wards at St Peters and Ashford Hospitalsites.
