Receptionist - Band 2

We are excited to be in a position to offer a permanent Band 2 post for a Reception to join our Outpatient Team within the iMSK; in Orthopaedics. The post will be 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, covering both hospitals when required.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work as part of the team in order to deliver high quality customer service, display excellent communication skills, and an understanding of delivering healthcare services. The ideal candidate must a team player with the ability to problem solve and work independently. Cancer Support Worker - Band 4

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit to a Breast Cancer Support Worker, to support patients on the breast cancer pathway. This role will support the Breast Clinical Nurse Specialists in providing information and support to cancer patients and their families. It involves triaging calls and escalating concerns to facilitate cancer patients through cancer pathways and treatment programmes. This role is pivotal in the delivery of holistic needs assessment and care plan and sign posting to local support services.This role will also support the delivery of open access follow up for breast cancer patients which includes support and escalation of patients with disease recurrence through the single point of contact and involvement in developing cancer wellbeing programmes. The role requires a knowledge or willingness to work with hospital systems, cancer care and a multidisciplinary team.Excellent communication skills are essential in providing support to individuals affected by cancer and their families including the ability to manage level 1 psychological distress and recognise and escalate level 2 psychological distress. Ability to demonstrate a compassionate approach and to provide empathy with patients who may be experiencing a difficult time in their life is essential.A commitment to further improving services for cancer patients and their families is essential.

Associate Practitioner - Band 4

BSPS is a successful, progressive pathology network formed as a contractual joint venture between 5 trusts providing services to acute Trusts, primary and community care and private healthcare. The laboratory is also currently implementing a new state of the art automation tender which will be replacing some of this equipment. The laboratory opening hours are 7am-7pm Monday Friday, 9am 1pm on Saturdays.

You will, with the Senior BMS, be responsible for the participating in the organisation and performance of all aspects of the Virology Laboratory provided by the Virology Department for BSPS recently established within BSPS.

Rehabilitation Assistant - Band 3

Would you like to work in a friendly multidisciplinary team providing home-based early rehabilitation and support to patients following stroke?

We are looking for a Rehabilitation Assistant to join the Early Supported Discharge (ESD) team for Stroke in South West Surrey. Our team includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Specialist Stroke Nurses, Psychologists, Rehabilitation Assistants and Administrator support. Youd be working directly with patients, in their own homes, to assist with rehabilitation programmes and deliver some aspects of patient education. Some intervention is conducted by video or telephone. Youd also support some non-clinical and administrative duties.

Salary: £22,866 to £24,336 a year include HCAS
