From 1 December 2017, ADHD services at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals transferred to Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
We are now responsible for providing all follow up appointments for children and young people who have been diagnosed with ADHD or ADHD and an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) which were previously provided by Ashford and St Peter’s.
Next steps
We would like to reassure you that we have been working closely with our colleagues at Ashford and St Peter’s to transfer details of patients’ care and treatment.
We are now currently in the process of re-arranging all appointments that were scheduled due to take place in December and we will write to you with details of your new appointment.
Please be assured that we will be inviting all patients for an appointment and a medical review.
This transition is being supported by two local GPs who have been reviewing clinic lists and helping us to prioritise those young people that need the most urgent support.
We accept that the transition has not been as timely as any of us would have liked and appreciate that you will no doubt have lots of questions about the changes and what they mean for you and your family.
To help answer your queries, we have developed a series of Frequently Asked Questions with Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals. This includes advice on medication, when to contact your GP and shared care arrangements.
Contact
If you have concerns about your child’s care and treatment, medication or feel they need to be see urgently you can call us on 01932 722 764 to discuss your child’s needs.
Please note - We have transferred the previous phone number to our new clinic, which is based within the buildings we manage on the St Peter’s Hospital site.
