Local people are invited to St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey, on Saturday 6 July from 10am-3pm for its inaugural Community Open Day.
The Open Day is for everyone in the community - patients, families, carers, schools, local businesses, stakeholders and partners - for a celebratory, fun, engaging and interactive day to help local people feel part of the Trust.
There’ll be a great range of activities throughout the day for all ages, including interactive stands and demonstrations, theatre tours and health and wellbeing advice. Front-line clinical colleagues will be on hand to share their knowledge and expertise. There will be food, drink, games, prizes and entertainment as well as visits by emergency service partners Surrey Police, Surrey Fire and Rescue and SECAmb.
Chief Executive Suzanne Rankin said: ‘I am delighted to throw open the doors at St Peter’s to invite local people to see behind the scenes and meet some of my enthusiastic colleagues who are passionate about showcasing their services. We’ll also be sharing our exciting investment plans to improve the hospitals and services we provide, including major improvements to our urgent and emergency services at St Peters Hospital, car parking and onsite catering and retail facilities.’
