COVID-19 patient Andrew Hodge has paid tribute to the ‘phenomenal and attentive’ team at St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey, who treated him during his 10-day admission.

Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals were delighted to win an award for Collaborative Recruitment of the Armed Forces Community at the first Step into Health awards last week.

As part of the ongoing Transformation works at St Peter’s Hospital, there will be some temporary changes to how the main entrance of the hospital is accessed. As of Monday 24th February, for eight weeks, there will be no access for patient or visitor drop off at the front entrance. If you are being dropped off by car or taxi, please arrange to be dropped in one of the visitor car parks, which are free to park in for the first 20 minutes. The A&E car park is currently dedicated for blue badge parking and has the closest access to the hospital. Blue badge parking is free. You can find a map of the car parks here.

Patients on the Senior Adult Medical Services (SAMS) Wards were surprised and delighted when healthcare workers laid on a Valentine’s Day tea party complete with the swooning notes of classic love songs which reverberated through the ward during the afternoon.
