We are pleased to announce that Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has been announced as one of the winners in the CHKS Top 40 Hospitals Awards 2014 in a recent ceremony held in London.
The Trust was previously rated a Top 40 Hospital in 2011 and 2013.
CHKS also present three national awards each year for patient safety, quality of care and data quality, the Trust was finalists in both the quality of care and data categories. For quality of care there were five finalists, putting us in the top five Trusts, and for data quality we were in the top three.
Chief Executive Andrew Liles said, "These awards are really important indicators of how well Trusts are doing. To achieve a top 40 hospital award and to be in the top handful of Trusts for the quality of our care and data is a big achievement, something both staff and patients should be proud and reassured by."
