We are a tertiary referral centre for limb reconstruction and complex trauma and accept referrals from local hospitals in our region as well as from around the country.
We would be delighted to look after your patient with severe acute trauma, limb deformity, or fracture non-union/mal-union. Please kindly note that we expect patients to be accepted back at the referring hospital if they require ongoing inpatient rehabilitation/physiotherapy following the initial post-operative period of recovery with us. Any delays in this process, will lead to us not being able to accept other patients at our unit.
Please note that we do not have an acute plastic surgery service at Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals, so any patient requiring soft-tissue management should be referred to their local major trauma centre.
To refer a patient, simply complete the online referral form and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please ensure all details are provided in the referrals; any missing data or incomplete referrals is likely to delay treatment and is not in the patient's best interests.
