Nursery Nurse

St Peters Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has a rare and exciting opportunity for a compassionate and caring Nursery Nurse who is keen to learn new skills and work within the hospital setting. We are a friendly, dynamic and supportive unit where you will have the privilege of caring for premature and sick babies who require special care.

You will work in partnership with parents as we adopt a “Family Integrated Care” ethos on our unit. We were awarded the “Bliss accreditation” last year scoring the highest rating in the country. You will guide and advise parents as they learn to look after their babies independently throughout their journey in NICU, TCR (Transitional Care Room) and home, providing expertise in breast feeding, parentcraft and discharge planning.

Salary: £23,677- £26,127 pa inc HCA

Neonatal Technician - Band 6

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a newly created Neonatal Technician post to work in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Our tertiary level medical NICU is based at St. Peter’s Hospital, Surrey. We are well known for our forward-thinking non-invasive approach to intensive care, including the use of mobile high flow in the delivery room. We have close working relationships with our high risk obstetric service and fetal medicine team, and therefore look after an increasing number of complex and extremely preterm infants.

The post holder will work alongside our Medical Engineering Department leading on ensuring the team meets the needs of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and its associated areas of work.

Salary: £33,922 - £40,872 pa Inc. HCAS

Paediatric Appointment Administrator - Band 3

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Paediatric Appointments and Reception Team as a Paediatric Appointment Facilitator. This is a 37.5 hour role based in the Children’s Units at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals.

We are looking for a friendly, motivated and highly organised person with good I.T. skills and a flexible approach to join the team. Good communication skills are essential for dealing with a wide range of health care professionals as well as patients and their relatives. Previous NHS administrative experience is desirable but not essential although sound overall administration skills are required along with a positive attitude.

Salary: £21,396 - £22,866 pa inc HCA

Associate Paediatrics Diabetes Nurse Specialist - Band 6

The paediatric diabetes team are offering this exciting opportunity to join them as an associate paediatric diabetes specialist nurse. This is a part time vacancy and would suit either a Band 5 nurse looking for promotion or for an existing Band 6 nurse looking for a change.

As an RSCN/RN Child Branch nurse with a passion for diabetes with a strong background in working with diabetic CYP. You will work alongside our other specialist nurses and diabetes MDT members to support children and young people within our service.

This is a very dynamic role and the expectation will be that this person’s time will be shared across sites and the community with a variety of clinics, training and education and supporting inpatients who are new or existing members of the diabetes caseload.
