Patient Information
Introduction
Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) sees, treats and discharges in the same day.
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 am to 09:00pm with the last referral at 6pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 08:00am to 08:00pm with the last referral at 5pm
There is no access to SDEC prior to the times listed above.
We recommend patients park within the Urgent and Emergency Car Park.
You can then follow the signs to the Rowley Bristow Unit entrance. Once inside the building please follow the blue dots that will lead you to a set of doors leading to the outside corridor. At the other end you will need to go through another set of doors and SDEC will be located on your left.
Please note: SDEC provides arrival timeslots, and some cases may take priority. Please be prepared for possible extended waits.
Directions to SDEC
- Park in Urgent and Emergency Car Park.
- Use the Rowley Bristow Unit Entrance.
- Go right and follow the blue dots that leads to the outdoor corridor.
- At the end of the outside corridor, you will come to an automatic door.
- Go through the door and turn left.
- SDEC entrance will be on the left.
