During the Covid Pandemic a local group of our hospital supporters made scrubs for our staff out of coloured and patterned material. One of these ladies has since gone one step further, gathering the leftover scraps and converting them into this stunning double quilt. It took 3 ½ weeks to make!
It has caused great interest and several of our supporters and their parents said it brought back memories of the two World wars when they used to make clothes out of parachute fabric and curtains.
The quilt is being sold by raffle tickets, with the draw on Friday 11 December.
