Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Jo Fanning as their new Chief People Officer from Monday 15 January 2024.
Jo has worked in the NHS for 24 years, starting as a HR Assistant in a mental health and community Trust in West Sussex, where she stayed for 10 years building her career in HR. In 2009, Jo moved to an acute Trust in Sussex and carried out a variety of HR roles while there, staying for 13 years. Jo joined The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in September 2021 as Deputy CPO before being appointed Interim CPO in November 2022.
Jo takes on this role from Louise McKenzie, Director of Workforce Transformation, who leaves ASPH after 10 years in December. The decision to modernise the title of this role to CPO was made by the Board and Executive colleagues to reflect other similar positions throughout the NHS and wider business sector.
