United Living Supports ASPH Staff Initiative

Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals (ASPH) received a kind donation of £1,500 from United Living, to support the Trust’s “Here 4 You Champions” initiative.

“Here 4 You Champions” is a Trust initiative, which aims to recruit staff champions to support, signpost and advocate for the Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU), Staff Health and Wellbeing and the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) projects. These Champions, along with the Team Leads, will support the health and wellbeing of staff at ASPH and aid them to speak up and report concerns.

When United Living heard about the “Here 4 You Champions” initiative, they understood the importance of it and wanted to offer support through their generous donation of £1,500.

United Living is creating modern, comfortable, and high-quality facilities the NHS workers and medical students at St Peter’s Hospital. It will boost housing capacity by providing 147 high-quality apartments at the site in Chertsey. The project is scheduled to be completed in early 2024.

Roland Juhnevics, Project Manager of United Living New Homes, said: “People are at the heart of what we do, and we look to create a lasting positive legacy in the communities in which we operate. We were more than happy to pledge our support to Here 4 You Champions to support their great work”.

Ishbel Davis, ASPH Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer and one of “Here 4 You Champions” Leads, was profoundly grateful for this supportive gesture as it means so much for our hospitals’ staff. She said: “We are incredibly grateful to United Living for their generous donation to our Here 4 You Champions initiative. With this money we can look after our Champions so they can do the important job of looking after team ASPH! Our Champions and the Leads thank United Living from the bottom of their hearts!”
