The Trust has planned electrical works taking place from Wednesday 13 March to Tuesday 19 March at St Peter’s Hospital. This means there may be short periods of power loss in certain areas of the hospital. These periods of power loss will occur overnight when the hospital is less busy, and we have carried out extensive planning to ensure that we minimise disruption during this time.
Please be assured that robust contingency plans have been put in place to ensure that patients are kept safe during this time. All essential medical equipment will be unaffected, and inpatients will be informed of the works upon arrival on the ward.
As part of these works, we will have fewer car parking spaces in the Hazel Car Park as some spaces will be used to house the generators and power supplies. The reduced parking will be from Tuesday 11 March until Friday 22 March. Please use the other car parks across the site.
If you have any concerns, please speak to the staff on the ward, or our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01932 723553.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to patients and visitors and would like to assure everyone that these measures are essential.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during the works.
