From 6pm on Friday 22 March until the early hours of Monday 25 March 2024, we will be closing the main access roadway into St Peter’s Hospital site in order to carry out essential resurfacing works. Diversions will be in place during this time, and all vehicles, except buses, will be diverted to the alternative entrance on Holloway Hill. Public transport will remain fully operational and will operate to normal timetables - buses will still be able to enter and exit via the A320 roundabout entrance.
A number of car parks will also be closed whilst work is carried out. The Hazel Car Park (outlined in blue) will operate as the main car park for patients and visitors at St Peter’s Hospital over the weekend.
Controlled emergency drop offs to the Abbey Wing side car park will be allowed for those in labour and needing to access the maternity services. Cars must then be returned to the public car park thereafter.
Clear signage will be displayed along the diversion routes, and Trust security and car parking teams will be on hand to assist direction to public car parks.
