Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is very happy to announce the appointment of John Machin as Acting Chair.
John, who is currently the Deputy Chair, will take on the new role as of Monday 6 January after the departure of current Chair, Caroline Warner, who leaves the organisation at the beginning of January.
John is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant. His career spans five decades with KPMG in the UK, including 25 years as a Financial Sector Advisory Partner. In addition to his role at ASPH, John is a Non-Executive Director at Central Surrey Health, President of the North West Surrey NHS Retirement Fellowship and Chair of Puttenham Golf Club.
John is passionate about helping value-driven organisations, and the individuals within them, to realise their full potential through leveraging innovation and continuous learning and improvement.
