We have received notice from the GRAHAM Group working in partnership with Surrey County Council regarding the construction of a third lane on the St Peter's Way carriageway (eastbound). This lies between M25 Junction 11 and the St Peter's roundabout.
The eastbound lane on St Peter's Way will be closed from 5am Tuesday 10th June until mid-October 2025. This will remove the dedicated left turn from Guildford Road southbound onto St Peter's Way.
A temporary safety barrier will be installed on this eastbound section of the St Peter's Way. To do this, the section between the St Peter’s Way roundabout and the M25 J11 will be closed from 8pm-5am each night on Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th, and Wednesday 11th June.
GRAHAM Group have informed us that "a signed diversion will be in place for traffic via: Guildford Road northbound towards Chertsey, Bell Bridge Road, the A317, Chertsey Road and returning to St Peter’s Way."
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
