We have received the following notice from GRAHAM Group and Surrey County Council about the closure of Guildford Road Northbound from 8pm Friday 27th June to 8am Sunday 29th June.
"As part of our improvements scheme on the A320 North of Woking, we have several utility crossings to carry out that lie beneath the A320. The next utility crossings we need to carry out are beneath the section of Guildford Road northbound highlighted in red above."
"To undertake this work, the red section of Guildford Road northbound (between the St Peter’s Way roundabout and the Hospital roundabout) will be closed from 8pm Friday 27th June to 8am Sunday 29th June."
"As we will have the width of the road excavated, we cannot allow access for any vehicles, including emergency service vehicles. The footpath on this section of road will remain open for pedestrians."
"During the above closure a diversion route will be in place via Chertsey using St Peter’s Way eastbound, Chertsey Road, the A317, Bell Bridge Road, and returning to Guildford Road."
