We have received notice from GRAHAM Group in partnership with Surrey County Council about the overnight closure to a section of Guildford Road from 8pm Wednesday 9th July to 5am on Thursday 10th July.
"Part of our improvements scheme is to widen the northbound approach to the St Peter’s Way roundabout (from Guildford Road). To carry out this work, we need to temporarily close a lane on the approach to the roundabout."
"From 8pm - 5am on Wednesday 9th July, the above section of Guildford Road (between Ottershaw, and St Peter’s Way) will be closed in both directions while we install the temporary vehicle barrier."
"During the above closures, a signed diversion will be in place for northbound traffic (Towards Chertsey) via Addlestone, by following Murray Road, Spinney Hill, Church Road, the A318, Chertsey Road and St Peter’s Way."
"For southbound traffic (towards Ottershaw) please join St Peters Way eastbound, Chertsey Road, the A318, Church Road, Spinney Hill and Murray Road."
"When planning these closures, we liaised directly with the emergency services to ensure as little disruption as possible is caused to these vital services."
