We have received notice from GRAHAM Group in partnership with Surrey County Council about the St Peter’s Way Roundabout closure from 8pm Friday 26th September until 5am Monday 29th September.

The following details are from the GRAHAM Group:

"Works are progressing well on our St Peter’s Way and St Peter’s Way Roundabout improvements, these include:

  • Installing additional lanes
  • Improving the public footpaths
  • Improving the drainage facilities

We soon need to carry out utility crossings and surfacing works on the roundabout itself. To minimise the overall disruption to the travelling public, we will be closing the St Peter’s Way Roundabout in sections over 3 weekends. The roundabout will be divided into Western, Northern and Southern sections.

Western Section Closure

The western section of the roundabout, as shown on the above graphic, will be closed from 8pm Friday 26th September until 5am Monday 29th September.

During this closure, Guildford Road Northbound from the Ottershaw Roundabout to St Peter’s Hospital will be closed. A signed diversion will be in place for traffic via Murray Road, Spinney Hill, the A318/ Chertsey Road, the A317, Bell Bridge Road and Guildford Road.

Guildford Road Southbound will remain open.

The diversion route for this closure can be seen on a map by clicking the following link:"
