We have received notice from GRAHAM Group in partnership with Surrey County Council about the overnight closure to a section of St Peter’s Way Eastbound from 8pm Monday 8th December to 5am Tuesday 9th December.
"The St Peter’s Way eastbound carriageway will be closed between the St Peter’s roundabout and the M25 J11 for one night while our team carry out the movements of the vehicle safety barrier."
"The road will be closed overnight on Monday 8th December from 8pm to 5am."
"When the road reopens on Tuesday morning, traffic will be running on a new alignment, whilst still being open to one lane. With the traffic moving onto the new lane, the team can safely work on the central reserve, away from live traffic."
"A signed diversion will be in place via Guildford Road southbound towards Ottershaw, Murray Road then Spinney Hill, Church Road, the A318 Chertsey Road and returning to St Peter’s Way."
"Due to the nature of our works, no access for emergency vehicles will be permitted during the closure. When planning this closure, we liaised directly with the emergency services to ensure as little disruption as possible is caused to these vital services."
