Visitors to Guildford Spectrum this festive season may spot Liz Amini from the Bradley Unit taking to the ice in her Christmas gear.
Throughout December, Liz will be completing a sponsored 26-mile Christmas skate-a-thon to raise funds for the Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals’ Charity, in support of the Bradley Unit Charitable Fund.
The Bradley Unit provides life-changing neuro-rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, and other neurological conditions. Liz, who works as an Activities Co-ordinator on the ward, was inspired to take on the challenge after seeing first-hand the profound difference the Unit makes to patients and their families.
