Following extensive work across Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals, the Critical Incident declared on Tuesday 2 June has now been stood down.
While this is a positive step, our services remain very busy with sustained high demand for our services. We ask our local community to continue to support us by choosing the most appropriate NHS service for your needs. This includes using NHS 111, your GP, local pharmacists or urgent treatment centres where suitable, and attending the emergency department (A&E) only for life threatening emergencies. This will help ensure urgent care is available for those who need it most.
