Smoking is not permitted anywhere on hospital premises – either in the buildings or grounds.

Cigarettes are not available from the shop, cafés or restaurants on either site.

We do recognise that it is difficult for some patients to refrain from smoking during their stay in hospital and where appropriate, patients will be prescribed nicotine patches.

If you would like help to stop smoking please ask one of the nursing staff who will be happy to give you additional information. Alternatively you can contact The Surrey Stop Smoking Service on 0845 602 3608 or call The National NHS Smoking Helpline on 0800 169 0169.
